We all know and have heard of the benefits of massage such as relaxation, pain management stress relief and more. Massage continues to show that can do so much more. Mentally and emotionally massage brings about a positive attitude, promotes relaxation and calmness, enhances self image, increases awareness of inner-self .
Physically , massage promotes the flow of blood, lymph and oxygen that is so vital, helps to eliminate toxins stored in muscles, relieves muscle soreness, tension and spasms. Massage also helps to increase range of motion and mobility , facilitates tissue healing.
In my experience massage is a great tool for wellbeing . It works great with other modalities. It doesn't only work on the physical body, in my opinion it promotes complete health of spirit , mind and, body .
I call it the "Triad of Health" where the mind is clear emotions are on check and the physicoal body is at its optimum potential.
